Death--Future Hope--Royal King Bloodlines
newspapers, his wife following him a year later. She was barely 5 feet tall on tiptoe, and Red was over six feet. May God rest their souls! Mr. Hopson has also passed away. We've also heard that Mr. McConnell has died.
We dedicated our Royal King herd to the Lord.
In January, 2004, we sold Mount Royal King to Jeff Merrill of Rescue, California. He also purchased two of our mares, Royale Holly EQH, and Royal Toni EQH, that we had previously sold. These horses have very high percentage Royal King bloodlines in them and we hope Jeff will continue to linebreed and sell them.
As for us, we have a red roan sire, Royal Roan Max EQH--42.5% Royal King--, by Mount Royal King out of a Triple Royal daughter, Miss Roan Royal. Our mares --- four( now three) --- range from 34% Royal King Bloodlines to 46%. Three of the mares are palomino, Diamond Royal Gold (40.5% Royal King...deceased 11/09), Royal Blessing EQH (42.5% Royal King), and Royal Miss Abundance, 34% Royal King, and there is one sorrel, Royal Flag EQH (46% Royal King).
I hope anyone out there that takes the time to read this will realize that their life is just waiting to wake up to the call from the Lord. You're not complete until He's buried deep within your soul--then, life becomes a miracle, and you no longer yearn for some future event to create happiness for you.
Perhaps newer, younger Royal King Breeders will continue the Royal King bloodlines.
Royal King horses are truly the best ever. Kudos to those who realize this and seek to preserve these genes for the future. We will help anyone who wants to do this.
